Bring It On

I turn forty this year. It's not an issue. I have a young heart and mind and I'm just happy to be here.

Bring It On:

Turning forty,

holds no fear for me

because not so long ago,

there was doubt,

that I would ever reach it, alive!

Forty doesn’t loom,

It beckons me.

Like a radiant light

that illuminates me,

in a Ready Brek style aura.

If you coin the phrase,

‘life begins at forty’,

I’d have to disagree.

Life began at thirty seven (I’m only three!)

and I have so much more to learn.
